    Post breakfast, set off on a journey through the Old and New Delhi. See the 17th Century Jama Masjid- one of the most prominent mosques of Delhi, then go for a visit to the majestic Red Fort and thereon head on to Raj Ghat- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and other impressive Government buildings in the area like the parliament house, president’s house and the supreme court. The afternoon has been left at your leisure.

    Board the Shatabdi Express to Jhansi from Delhi this morning. At Jhansi you will be visiting the historic riverside town of Orchha, which is known for its majestic palaces forts. Thereon, head for the city of Khajuraho, known across the world for an interesting and exotic array of medieval Hindu temples. It is also a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site. It is at Khajuraho that you will spend the night today.

    This morning you will devote to marveling at the temples of Khajuraho which were built by the Chandela emperors. These temples are known for their elaborate sculptures and beautiful paintings. Spend the night at the hotel.

    Head for Varanasi located in Uttar Pradesh, via airways. At Varanasi, check-in at the hotel, where you will spend the next two nights. Varanasi is one of the oldest cities of the world which through centuries on centuries, has been constantly occupied. Located on the banks of the holy Ganges, this city inspires intrigue and wonder at the same time. Enjoy the evening, taking a walk along the river Ganges, where you will witness the grand Aarti ceremony.

    Early this morning visits the ghats and witnesses the cleansing ritual. Thereon go for a boat ride in the majestic River Ganges. Go back to the hotel for your breakfast and then start off with a journey of the historic and holy city of Varanasi, visiting the ancient Hanuman Temple, the legendary Banaras Hindu University, the deer park Sarnath, a place associated with Lord Gautam Buddha.
