    Upon being greeted by your guide upon arrival at the Hanoi airport, you’ll be transferred by car to your hotel. Overnight stay at a local hotel in Hanoi.

    Begin you day’s exploration by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of Vietnamese Revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh. The museum is inspired in architecture from Lenin’s Mausoleum in Moscow.  Visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu in Vietnamese) next, boasting traditional Vietnamese architecture and dedicated to Vietnam’s finest scholars. Next visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, featuring tribal art, artefacts and everyday objects belonging to different ethnic minorities in Vietnam. The museum rep resents as many as 54 ethnic groups across the country. End your day by visiting Old Quarter and the surroundings of the Sword Lake. Soak in the captivating sights of the Old Quarter in the evening, trying local specialities banh cuon (steamed rolled rice pancake) and banh mi (the famous Vietnamese sandwich). Try fresh, local beer at a bia hoi (beer club) and follow it up by savouring pho or pho tron (pho noodle mixed with chicken without soup) at a pho restaurant. For dessert, try an ice cream near Hoan Kiem Lake. Overnight stay at a hotel in Hanoi.

    The Ethnographic Museum is closed on Monday  
    Every year, the monument remains closed between mid-September and mid-December for regular restoration and preservation of the presidential remains (exact dates to be checked each year)

  • Day 3 Hanoi - Hai Phong - Lan Ha Bay

    Leaving from Hanoi for Hai Phong, you will take a ferry from the Got Ferry Terminal and afterwards reach the Cat Hai township, using the newest and longest bridge in South East Asia. Upon arrival here in the early afternoon, you will take a tender boat to the Cruise and travel along a new route to Halong Bay from Hai Phong. The cruise boat will take you to the Da Chong Islet at the lunch time for the exploration of a quaint lighthouse built by the French. Sail on to the Con Vit and Gia Luan islets next where the limestone karsts formations in the sea are a major attraction. Ride on a bus and explore the Trung Tang Cave, nestling in a picturesque valley before enjoy a stunning sunset and learn about traditional cooking methods before dinner.

  • Day 4 Lan Ha Bay - Ha Noi - Da Nang - Hoi An

    Sign up for an early morning Tai Chi class and follow it up with a sumptuous breakfast. The next adventure on your list is Ao Ech area kayaking. Come back to your cruise boat and indulge in leisurely tea and delightful brunch while the cruise makes its way to the pier. At the end of the morning, leave your cruise ship and proceed towards Hanoi, without a guide. Transfer to the hotel for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you will meet your local guide and driver and travel by car to hotel in Hoi An. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

    From Hoi An, ride a bike or a private vehicle to the village of Tra Que. The 30-minute ride will take you through picturesque countryside, marked by splendid rice fields and scenes of local life. Tra Que will leave an impression with its aromatic herbs. You can participate in local agriculture techniques such as digging, watering and harvesting. Enjoy a relaxing foot massage that a local family will perform for you using their special techniques. Try your hand at local cooking techniques and enjoy a sumptuous local meal. Upon return to Hoi An, take a lei surely walk along the ancient cobblestone streets and check out two centuries old local houses. Explore the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and the Tan Ky Chinese-style trading house. Stop by a local teahouse for refreshing cup and end your tour here. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.     After spending the morning at leisure, Leave Hoi An and from the Danang Airport, take your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to a local hotel.

    Leave early in the morning for visiting the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, symbolic of the tenacity of the Vietnamese people and associated with war history of the country. Just about 1.5 hours of drive from the Ho Chi Minh City, the tunnels spread for over 250 kilometres. You’ll be surprised to know that the tunnels, boasting an entire network of trapdoors, constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens, were built during the French occupation of Vietnam in the 1940 using very basic tools. A d ocumentary will be shown to all visitors at the beginning of their tour. This will be followed by a thorough tour of the tunnels and you will cross offices, kitchens, meeting rooms, weapons stores and even hospitals. At the end of the tour, guests will be offered khoai mi luoc (boiled cassava), a traditional Vietnamese dish eaten daily during the war. Return to Ho Chi Minh City after the end of the tour and in the afternoon; take a tour for covering major city attractions. Admire the local colonial and Chinese-era architecture in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, and discover significant historical sites including the central post office, the Reunification Palace and Dong Khoi Street and Ben Thanh Market.

  • Day 9 Ho Chi Minh - Ben Tre - Ho Chi Minh City

    Leave Ho Chi Minh City for the picturesque little province of Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta, right in the morning. Thanks to its dense green rice paddies, the Mekong Delta has earned for itself the nickname of the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. Visit a brick factory in Phong Nam where bricks are still made from hands. Next, cruise along the Chet Say River and make stops at local workshops in small villages, including a carpet-weaving workshop where you can try your hand at the activity too. Hop on to a xe loi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) or a bicycl e for a personal tour of the local traditional farms, rice fields and vegetable plants. Don’t forget to gorge on regional specialties, such as “elephant-ear fish” and freshwater shrimps. In the afternoon, board a sampan (a flat bottomed Chinese wooden boat) and explore the narrow canals of the Mekong Delta. Travel back to the Ho Chi Minh City by car as your day’s exploration comes to an end. Overnight stay at a local hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

    Start your morning by travelling on a scenic road, surrounded by trees as old as 100 years, to reach the majestic Angkor Thom, the last and capital city of the Khmer empire. Explore the stunning Bayon Temple, built around 12th - 13th century and surrounded by 54 towers, each of them adorned with 4 faces. Make a stop at the Baphuon next, Located 200m northwest of Bayon and popular as the 'world's largest jigsaw puzzle'. Visit the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King next. The former is 350 metre long reviewing stand, in a ruined temple complex, used by Angkor's king Jayavarman VII as a platform from which to view his victorious returning army while the latter was built in the 12th century and remains covered by magnificent Apsara sculpting. The afternoon is reserved for the most important visit to the phenomenal ruins of the temple of Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is the largest religious monument in the world. End the day by visiting Ta Prohm, popular for its Bayon style of architecture. Proceed towards the south gate of Angkor Thom where a gondola boat will be waiting for you, along with a hand cold tower and a cool fresh drink. Aboard the boat, you will be able see one of the most spectacular sunsets over the jungle. Make a short trip to Angkor Thom Wall, a stunning corner temple and revel in the serenity of the place.     Get off the beaten track in Kompong Khleang, a village located 40 kilometres from Siem Reap. Check out the stilt houses and from there soak in the view of the lush rice fields as far as eyes can see. Take a boat to travel over canals and to a lake where people live on stilted houses that move with the rhythm of the seasons. After lunch you will return to Siem Reap.
