    Meet and greet service with rental car pick up at Auckland Airport. As you cruise down the southern motorway, suburban scenery gradually gives you to market gardening and Waikato farmland enroute to Hamilton.

  • Day 2 Hamilton – Rotorua (106 km)
    Hamilton – Rotorua (106 km)

    Enjoy the drive through farmland , lakeland and forest until the distinctive smell of sulphur and constant steam drifts let you know you are in tempestuous , geothermal Rotorua.

  • Day 3 Rotorua

    Day free to enjoy the many sights and activities on offer. This evening enjoy a memorable night of culture, song and dance followed by dinner cooked the traditional Maori way on hot stones underground.

  • Day 4 Rotorua - Napier (219 km)

    Enjoy the scenery as the road changes from forest to rugged mountain ranges and then to fertile vineyards as you continue on to the Hawke’s Bay, known for its Art Deco architecture, gourmet food and world-class wineries.

    Enjoy the clean, green Wairarapa scenery as you drive south to Martinborough, home to over 25 boutique vineyards.

  • Day 6 Martinborough

    Day free to visit the local wineries. Or just enjoy a day to relax.

    Travel today to Tongariro National Park where the three volcanic mountains of Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro dominate the scenery. Travel through the desert-like plateau to your accommodation at the foot of Mt Ruapehu.

  • Day 8 Tongariro –Waitomo - Auckland (360 km)
    Tongariro –Waitomo - Auckland (360 km)

    Travel to the ancient limestone Waitomo Caves region with its labyrinth of caves and underground rivers. Your guide will provide historical and geographical commentary before you drift silently in a boat under the milky way of glowworms . Continue on to Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, situated between two harbours and dotted with extinct volcanoes.

We appreciate your patience and co-operation during these unprecedented times as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been working tirelessly to ensure queries are resolved on your behalf and liaising with airlines and other suppliers in order to safeguard your payment. Please find the following options to resolve your queries and concerns:

  • 1. Changing your holiday date: some airlines are currently offering very generous amendment terms, allowing customers to move their holiday dates for free, without a fare increase (or for a limited fare increase). This means, where you have booked off-peak fares, you may be able to travel during on-peak times for no or a limited fare increase. We very much encourage customers to take advantage of these generous amendment terms and re-book their holiday for a later date. Please contact us if you wish to take advantage of this and re-book your holiday.
  • 2. Refunds: where we have had to cancel your holiday and you do not wish to re-book, we are offering a full refund of the amount you have paid to us, and this is irrespective of whether we have received money back from airlines and other suppliers. Currently, we have had to cancel holidays up to and including the 15th May 2020. We will endeavour to issue all refunds for these cancelled holidays by the end of May 2020.

We strongly recommend that you choose the option of changing your holiday date in order to take advantage of generous amendment policies and it will allow you to re-book your holiday for a future date. However, we recognize that some customers’ financial situation may have changed as a result of COVID-19 and as such a refund is required. Please contact us with your preferred choice to settle the matter and to enable us to expedite the process to resolve your query at the earliest.

Please note that a time when other travel companies have had to furlough staff/reduce staffing levels, we have actually increased our staffing levels in this department in order to deal with increased customer enquiries and to maintain our excellent customer service. As such, our call centre currently has an average call waiting time of no more than two minutes.
