Muscat City Tour and Shopping Full day

You will depart from your hotel at 9:00 am. Start the day’s journey with a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, popularly called the Grand Mosque, in Muscat. Ladies should keep their heads covered with a scarf and wear full sleeves clothing that keeps their shoulders covered while at the mosque.

Continue your journey and drive to the Natural History Museum. After exploring the museum, head to the Old Town of Muttrah. With the help of your expert local guide, enjoy a quick walk around and inside the old town. You can also go on a walk of a house inside the old town (optional).

Later, go for a walk on the Corniche of Muttrah to soak in the stunning views of its surroundings. Afterwards, proceed with your day’s journey with a visit to the local marketplace, the Muttrah Souk. The Muttrah Souk is an old, traditional market with shops selling traditional and antique Omani artefacts including textiles, hardware and gold.

Have a short photo stop at the Royal Opera House, from where you will proceed to the Royal Al Alam Palace. Stop for photo stopovers at the Royal Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by two 16th-century forts of Jalali and Mirani.
