    After crossing the fascinating Huguenot Monument, start your discovery of glorious winelands of the region at the charming town of Franschhoek. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch in this town popular for its gourmet fare. Cross the Helshoogte Mountain Pass to reach the university town of Stellenbosch, known for its serenity. Enjoy tasting wines at one of the many shops here and learn about the wine history as well as places and process of winemaking. Don’t forget to take a souvenir for back home when you leave.
