Jozani Forest Tour Half Day

A tour of the Jozani Forest will introduce you the natural wonders of Zanzibar. Walk along the lush forest trails to discover an almost untouched beauty of the forest – full of exotic fauna, medicinal plants and scenic beauty. The forest is one of the few habitations for the Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkey and is home to eucalyptus and mahogany trees; you will be guided by a park ranger who will enlighten you about the medicinal properties of the local plants. You will also learn about the numerous animals, birds and reptiles inhabiting the tropical ra inforest. As you walk through the forests, you can have the opportunity of spotting groups of Zanzibar Red Colobus monkeys. You can touch and play with them, and watch them eat.
