Loldia House is an old farmhouse on the north western part of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley, highest and purest Lake in Kenya. The house is set in lawns, which are grazed at night by hippos from the lake, and ideally situated to visit the flamingo lakes of Nakuru, Elementaita and Bogoria, one of the great spectacles of Africa.It’s 2 hour by road from Nairobi, or 25 minute by a chartered or scheduled flight.
Loldia House has four rooms in the main house with two separate cottages in the gardens, one has 3 rooms and the other has 2, making a total of 9 twin or double rooms. All the accommodation is in the old colonial English style creating a homely and friendly atmosphere for guests. Loldia House offers a choice of accommodation either in the old family house or in cottages in the grounds. In the main house, four en-suite double rooms are furnished in the original colonial style. Close by is an original guest cottage surrounded by lush flowers, with a further two en-suite rooms. Meals are served under Acacia trees or in the dining room.
