Danang is the third largest city in Vietnam, and is also one of the most important port cities in the country. Located on the coast of the South China Sea; it happens to be the biggest central Vietnam city. You can also discover few of the several world heritage sites listed by UNESCO here. There are several interesting places to visit in Danang. Marble mountains are one of the most widely visited tourist spots in the area. It is a cluster of hills that are made of marble and limestone and form a beautiful sight. Another interesting place to visit is the Museum of Cham Sculpture, which is an art lover’s paradise. Phap Lam Pagoda, Imperial City Hue, Zone 5 Military Museum, Ba Na Hills, Tu Hung Stone Arts and Son Tra Peninsula are other places you should visit while in Danang.

When in Danang you must try as many local delicacies as possible. Pho, Cha Ca, Banh Xeo, Cau Luo, Goi Cuon and Bun bo Hue are some of the famous Vietnamese dishes that you should enjoy.

The duration from September to March is considered the best time to visit Danang. This is the perfect weather for sightseeing, exploring the city and its various facets, trying some amazing local cuisine, meeting local people and discovering the legacy of this place.
