You will enjoy a sightseeing tour in Old and New Delhi. You will be picked up at 09:00AM after breakfast. Enjoy a visit to India Gate, a great memorial arch built in memory of the soldiers died in World War-I and Indo-Afghan War. Drive past the President’s House, Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings. In Old Delhi, there are plenty of historical attractions depicting the city’s rich cultural heritage. Here you will drive past the magnificent Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1648. Visit Jama Masjid, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in India. Admire the architectural beauty of the mosque. Later, you will visit Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s shrine. After a short stay at Raj Ghat, head to another fascinating historical site, Humayun’s Tomb. The next site to visit is Qutub Minar. Standing 72 metres tall, this wonderful minaret was built in 12th century and is one of the most sought after tourist spots in Delhi. After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for Agra, another historically rich city in North India. `This afternoon, enjoy a visit to the glorious Agra Fort. Some most impressive structures within the fort include Jahangir Palace, Diwan-e-Khas, and Bengali Mahal. Thereafter, head to the world-famous Taj Mahal situated on the bank of River Yamuna, this colossal monument is a symbol of love; it was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his queen Mumtaj Mahal. This morning, you will board the Express train for Jhansi from Agra Railway Station. It takes approx 2.5 hours to reach Jhansi from Agra. In Jhansi, you will visit the famous Jhansi Fort. Built on a hillock, this 17th century fort is a living testimony of bravery that Lakhsmi Bai, the queen of Jhansi, showed while fighting against the British to save her kingdom. Later, you will be driven to Orchha, a small riverside town known for its captivating scenery and historical treasures. Overnight stay at hotel.

This morning, you will head to one of Central India’s most renowned cities, Gwalior. Apart from magnificent forts and temples, Gwalior is widely acclaimed for its rich heritage of art and culture, especially its contribution to the classical music. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel. Later, proceed on visiting the top tourist attractions in Gwalior. Visit the magnificent Gwalior Fort, one of the oldest forts in India. Man Mandir, Gurjari Mahal, and Jai Vilas Palace are other fascinating attractions in the city.

Transfer to Gwalior Railway Station. Here, you will board the train for Kanpur. On arrival in Kanpur, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take rest and enjoy your overnight stay in the hotel.

Visit the Bibigarh, the Ghats, and the church within the army garrison. Travel to Fatehgarh, Bithur and Nana Rao Park to learn about the 1857 mutiny. Later, drive to Lucknow. The journey will take around two hours, and on arrival check in to your hotel.

Lucknow is a beautiful city. Enjoy your time here in this multicultural city that’s renowned in the subcontinent for its gardens, poetry, music, and cuisine. Pay a visit to the wonderful Rumi Darwaza (the Turkish Gate), and shrines such as the Bara Imambara, Husainabad Imambara, and Asafuddaula Imambara. Proceed towards the Picture Gallery to take a look at the life-size oil paintings of the Nawabs of Oudh. Further, enjoy a tour to the Chattar Manzil Palace, Moti Mahal Palace, and the British Raj Residency. Overnight stay at the hotel.

An early morning transfer to the railway station to board express train for Varanasi. The journey will take around 6 hrs. Arrive at lunch time and get a transfer to your hotel. Visit the holy Ganges in the evening to enjoy the spectacular Aarti ceremony. Back to the hotel.

Enjoy an early morning boat ride on the Ganges. It really would be a memorable experience. After the boat ride, take a short walk through the city’s lanes, and enjoy sights such as the Vishwanath Temple. Go back to the hotel for breakfast. Transfer to Varanasi Airport for a short flight for Kolkata. Upon arrival in the city you will be transferred to your hotel.

One of the largest cities in India, Kolkata is a fascinating place and it usually delights with its fusion of the old and the new. The city has a number of historical monuments. Have a breakfast and start with your sightseeing tour of the city. Sightseeing comprises a visit to the Victoria Memorial (closed on Mondays), a remarkable site that’s often called the 'Taj' of the British Raj. Additionally, visit St. Paul's Cathedral and Mother Teresa's Home. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast, tansfer to the International airport in Kolkata towards your onward journey to UK with sweet memories.
