  • Day 1 Yangon

    After arrival in Yangon, you will be transferred to your local hotel in the city. In the evening, visit the famous Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset. Overnight stay in Yangon. 

  • Day 2 Yangon- Mandalay

    Early in the morning, transfer to the Yangon Railway Station and board the daily circular train for one and half hour ride to the Danyingone Market. On your way to the market; you will cross the lush green fields, wooden houses and many small factories. At the market, see vegetable, meat and flower vendours and hawkers engaged in negotiations with locals. You will see vendours carrying goods on motorcycles, trishaws and tuktuk. You can also try local snacks such as Mohinga, a rice noodle with fish soup and a typical Burmese breakfast. Later in the day, r eturn to Yangon by car.

  • Day 3 Mandalay

    Start your day by visiting Mahamuni Paya pagoda covered in over 15 cm of gold leaf. En route, see the labourers engaged in the laborious process of gold beating. Also visit local craft workshops and see the artists engaged in the art of bronze-casting, marble-carving, wood-carving, or puppetry. In the afternoon, explore some of the best temples, palaces and religious shrines in Mandalay including Shwenandaw Kyaung or the Golden Teak Monastery, Mandalay Palace, Kuthodaw Paya, popular as "the world's biggest book" as well as the Shwe Kyin Old Monastery. At the sunset, visit the Mandalay Hills and enjoy panoramic views over the city palace and the countryside of Mandalay. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

  • Day 4 Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin

    After breakfast; leave by road towards Pyin Oo Lwin. Once in the mountains, you will enjoy stunning views of the Ayeyarwady plains. At 21 Miles, you will find a range of food stalls selling fresh fruits and vegetables as well as beautiful flowers of different kinds. Upon arrival in Pyin Oo Lwin, you will visit attractions such as Chinese temple, Candacraig Hotel, the Botanical Gardens as well as the local market. In the afternoon, a horse-drawn carriage will transfer you to your hotel. Your private driver will arrive and transfer you to the View Restaura nt on the mountain top in time for sunset. Overnight stay in Pyin Oo Lwin.

  • Day 5 Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay

    Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay

    Following breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station for your train journey over the Gotheik Viaduct, the highest railway bridge in Myanmar and an engineering marvel in the middle of mountains. After you are through the bridge, cross a tunnel next and de-board at the Theyet Pin Kwe Station. From here, take the road to Pyin Oo Lwin for lunch. On your way, stop by the little known hometown of the Mayor U Bein and cross the famous U Bein Bridge. At the end of the day, drive back to Mandalay for overnight stay.

  • Day 6 Mandalay – Bagan

    Transfer by road from Mandalay to Bagan. Overnight stay at a local hotel in Bagan.

    Over 2000 temples and structures, some of them over 800 years old, are scattered across the plain of Bagan and today you will learn about the rich history, architecture and prominence of these temples on your tour. You will cover Shwezigon Paya, Gubyaukhyi Temple at Wetkyi-Inn, Ananda Pahto, Gubyaukhyi Temple at Myinkaba, Manuha Temple as well as Shwesandaw Paya on your journey. Among other things, these temples host some very beautiful pagodas, paintings, relics and frescoes significant to the times these temples were constructed. Enjoy a beautiful suns et over the plains of Bagan in the evening, one of the most rewarding experiences in Bagan.
    Note: Climbing Shwesandaw Pagoda is prohibited until further notice due to falling of some old bricks.

  • Day 8 Bagan - Heho - Kalaw

    Take a flight from Bagan to Heho and from there be transferred to Kalaw by a private vehicle. Overnight stay in Kalaw.

  • Day 9 Kalaw

    You will discover the popular attractions of the hill station Kalaw including Thein Taung Paya temple, Dhamma Yon temple, Aung Chang Tha Zedi stupa, Paya stupa, Christ the King Church among others. All these temples/stupas are located amidst picturesque surroundings and some of them offer stunning views over the town. Later in the day, enjoy trekking to the nearby villages dominated by the Palaung and Pao tribes. Overnight stay in Kalaw.

  • Day10 Kalaw– Inle Lake

    Transfer to the train station and board the train to Aung Ban. From here, transfer to Lake Inle by road. Overnight stay at Lake Inle.

  • Day 11 Inle Lake

    In the morning, take a long-tailed boat along the Inle Lake with your guide to reach Pauk Par Village, an Intha village of wooden stilt houses and learn the art of one-legged rowing (clients who wish to book and participate in this activity will be requested to sign an ICS release form either prior to arrival or on the ground before commencing the tour). For the activity, you will need to change into Shan baggy trousers and a bamboo hat. Enjoy the process of one-legged rowing with the local Intha fishermen and practice rowing for some time. Later, change into dry clothing and meet with an Intha family that will have cup of green tea and some local snacks such as tofu crackers and rice crackers as well as an authentic lunch ready for you. Spend some memorable moments here and return to the local hotel by a long-tail boat.
    Later in the day, enjoy a leisurely boat excursion around the Inle Lake including visits to the enchanting floating gardens, a bustling market, an Intha village around the lake as well as to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Inn Paw Khon Village (Lotus and silk weaving villages) and the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery. Overnight stay at the Inle Lake.
